Gloman Chat is a self-hosted messaging platform designed to give organizations, communities, families, and individuals full control over their communication and data. Unlike traditional cloud messaging services, each Gloman Chat server is independently hosted and managed by its respective server administrator.
This Privacy Policy explains how the Gloman Chat mobile application, web application, and supporting services handle information.

The Gloman Chat application is developed and maintained by Maniteja Emmadi. The developer does not operate or control independently hosted Gloman Chat servers unless explicitly stated.

Gloman Chat is a self-hosted application.
Each server is independently operated by its own administrator. User accounts, messages, files, and other communication data are stored on the server chosen by the organization or individual operating that server.
Gloman Chat, as the application developer, does not operate or manage these independently hosted servers and does not have access to the data stored on them.
The Gloman Chat application itself does not collect personal information for advertising, profiling, or analytics.

Gloman Chat uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver push notifications.
For independently hosted Gloman Chat servers, notifications are designed to preserve user privacy. The central notification relay only receives the minimum information required to deliver a wake-up notification.

After receiving a wake-up notification, the mobile application securely connects directly to the user's own Gloman Chat server to retrieve notification details.
Servers operated by the developer may optionally send notification previews depending on server configuration.
Your server administrator controls the infrastructure hosting your Gloman Chat instance.
Depending on configuration, administrators may access user accounts, stored messages, uploaded files, logs, and other server data.
Some server configurations may offer encrypted storage options. Whether these features are enabled is determined solely by the server administrator.

Data retention is determined by the administrator of the server you use. The application developer does not control retention policies for independently hosted servers.

Gloman Chat does not provide a central account registration service. User accounts are managed by the administrator of the Gloman Chat server to which you connect. Depending on the configuration of that server, registration may be disabled, invite-only, or available to the public. The availability and management of account registration are determined solely by the server administrator.
User accounts are managed by the administrator of the Gloman Chat server to which you connect. If your server provides self-service account deletion, you may use that feature. Otherwise, please contact your server administrator to request deletion of your account. The developer of Gloman Chat cannot delete accounts hosted on independently operated servers.
Self-service account deletion is not currently available. If you wish to remove your account, please contact your server administrator. Future versions of Gloman Chat may include additional account management features.
Gloman Chat is not specifically directed toward children. Server administrators are responsible for determining whether the service is appropriate for their users.
